Food Plots Egyptian Wheat Soil Test

Wanting to plant some Egyptian wheat to screen access this hunting season. Obviously soil test are very important, but I am screening a road that is nearly a 1/2 mile long. So it will be 1/2 mile x 10-15 feet. My question is will a soil test even be worth it considering all the different kinds of soil across that 10 foot by 1/2 stretch? Thanks!

Ive never planted it before and im doing the exact same thing. Im gonna skip the soil test this time and just see how it does. If it doesn't come up good in places then i guess that's where the thermal poachers will be stopping.
