Food Plots Egyptian Wheat

It's been a while since I planted a screen around my shooting house, so I thought I would give it a go this summer.

Here it is on June 20. Has been planted about 2 weeks at this point.

And here it is on July 14 after a timely rain.

After 6 more inches of rain and 40 lbs of Urea, here it is on August 20th. It's a little over 12 feet tall in spots.

Wow, 12ft in 2 months! can you see over the top of it to the plot?

I can see over it fine. I just can't see the first 10 yards or so that is obstructed by the screen.

I'd plant it right against the shoothouse next year so you can see right down the inside edge... deer will be travelling that edge I bet

I haven't used it so can't say. But it is very popular as a visual screen.

I planted it about 6 years ago to feed the turkeys and quail along with the biomass it produces. Stood 10 to 12 feet tall Until late winter/early spring.
