Doe down looking for theories.

Shot a doe at dusk Sunday night behind the house. Pretty much a heart only shot from what I can tell, she ran less than 30 yards. I went to look for the bolt this morning and it looks like it just came out of the box... I will drop the doe pic showing the exit wound and the bolt pic.... any ideas? Hasn't rained a drop.

Ants and yellow jackets find blood really fast. That's my guess, but I wouldn't have expected it to be 100% clean like that.

had coyotes up there on the cam that night, I am assuming they got the gut pile. I would assume there would some at least where the veins meet the bolt or something

Several factors, from dew to insects to running through the grass, day ir two and they get pretty clean
