Well, the three point hitch won't raise or lower on my Ford 3000. I've done everything in the You Tube tutorials including compressed air in the differential housing and bleeding the hydraulic pump. It is probably something under the top cover. Do any of you know of a competent tractor repairman in the Dickson/Waverly/McEwen area? I can drag my bush hog around but food plots don't happen without a lift. I may be out of luck anyway with it being hay season.

What about the hydraulic filters? Should be an internal and external. I'd start by replacing external first should be under left foot area while sitting on tractor behind a round cover. If that doesn't fix it replace internal filter which is under the seat. Not a 10 min fix but can be easily replaced.

The filters are a good idea. The owner's manual just says "filters should be replaced by a Ford authorized dealer." I'll look for them. You'd better believe I'd rather do that than be without a tractor for a while.
