Crazy Colored Channel Cat

My guide partner, Capt. Sam Simons' clients put a crazy-colored channel cat in the boat this AM. We believe the light areas are normal channel cat-color while the dark areas are melanosis, dark pigmentation frequently seen on largemouth bass. But we've never seen it on a channel catfish, nor has our area TWRA fisheries biologist. I'm calling it "Tats for Cats."
