So, a couple weeks back I decided to finally trample around in South Cherokee just to get an idea of the place, and I stumbled upon a surprising (to me) amount of what looked like buck sign (and some doe) along one ridgeline. there were a couple of decent rubs, a couple of fresh droppings (buck and doe) , and a couple of worn out trails going through the mountain laurel. to me this is a decent enough amount of sign to hunt, but I know that those bucks can be like ghosts from what Y 'all tell me. I didn't expect to find this much sign on my first scouting trip out there, but i feel like I have enough to work with. what do y'all think?
