Blued barrel on a stainless action?

I have a stainless TC pro-hunter I bought before they discontinued. I did not catch word they'd been discontinued until well after the fact. There are a couple of barrels that I would like to get...the only one I have is .243 that I bought with wife and kids in mind. I actually love the way it handles and hunt with it quite a bit myself.

One of the barrels I want, I have an opportunity to buy in new condition, but it is blued. Will probably look silly. However, I will probably never get a chance to buy it new in stainless, or even blued again if I pass it buy. So I think I will just buy it.

Maybe. I suspect it will look ridiculous. Let me look at it when you get it and if I determine it looks too ridiculous, I will dispose of it for you, and warn you to be more careful when shopping online.

Worst case, you can get it Cerakoted to match the receiver.

It will look fine,I put Remington 700 50 cal ml stainless barrel on a blue receiver liked it sold it to a guy cookville

Put it in and get the whole thing cerakoted any color you like.

It should look fine. Go for it. I got a stainless barrel on a blued action. It's a 27" stainless on a Remington 40x blued action.
