Birds in Camden bottoms

My son just text me and said there were quite a few big ducks in the Camden bottoms this morning when he went through there.

As bad as the corn crop is rumored to have been, they'll have several fields completely eat out before the season opens.

I sat on the back porch Sunday evening and watched a nice group fly over and drop in my swamp. I hope they hang around. Most places around me are totally dry but I got water.

The deer have already done a number on a lot of it. Sure wish they still allowed us to plant after the drawing.
