Admittedly I know very little about the AR15 platform and I see the same parts priced all over the place, recommend me some back iron sights… hopefully will never need them but need them to work when I do need them

Will be going on a LWRC 5.56 have a sig Romeo5 ordered for it which will be replaced after the holidays with either a Aimpoint pro or eotech

Fixed sights generally are used as standalone sights, though not always.

Co-witness sights are used in conjunction with your low pro holographic sights

Backup are the popups that are used if you ever have a malfunction with your optic and have to remove it.

If you're wanting backups and are not using this as a battle weapon then there's nothing wrong with an MBUS from magpul. They're plenty good enough for what they're designed for, and are repeatably accurate. Just don't buy sights from Amazon, as they've been caught multiple times selling air soft sights instead of the real deal.

I have some of the Blackhawk buis and they work well. Made in USA and are a metal alloy wrapped in a polymer. Can't beat the price for front and rear sights in my opinion.
