I saw a ton of deer this evening. Saw at least 2 nice bucks but couldn't get a good enough look at either to feel comfortable trying to use my last tag.

I'll give it to you , your tougher than me . Congrats on a nice buck . I hunted once in Giles Co. 9° with a wind chill of -9° . Mustache froze solid tried still hunting to stay warm but ground sounding like walking on egg shells . Ain't that tough(stupid) anyore .

They were moving good. Hunted from 1:45 till dark, saw about 10 deer with two being nice bucks wearing half their headgear. Saw them all from 4:00 on.

Not much to tell. I was setup on a logging road that feeds into a food plot. I was about 300 yards up from the plot. Had 3 does come through then about 20 minutes later a fork horn and this guy all headed down the logging road.

I got called in at 11:30 pm and got off at 6am just to turn around and go back in at 8and back home at 2pm. I'm ready for things to be normal.

My son went . Sitting in a hunting house with a buddy heater. I'm anxious to see how long he lasts. Thermometer here says 2 below.

I could've probably handled that. Sitting in a chair in the open was rough. I will DEFINITELY be building enclosed blinds before the 2023 season! I'm going to try one of those camp wood stoves in at least one of them.
