.. out their? Am getting back into owning an english setter.
Looking forward to putting her with an experienced dog to see how she will honor and or learn to hold on point.
she will be old enough next fall- she is 3wks old now- yep- planning ahead.

yep, know the basics and some training. Had in order- iris setter, english setter car accident, english setter gastric tortsion, gordon setter stolen, english settrt stolen.
had gordon and english obeying hand and whistle turn commands.
should have worked on "come" a little more. Come- or here will start with every feeding and out of kennel etc.

Just joined this forum and glad to hear from another bird hunter. Your post is older now but was reading through pages and found it. I have a 8 month old Brittany and had a great time with her this Winter. Not many wild birds but we got after them. I work pen raised quail with her often and just love this little dog.
