I'm thinking I may be done for the year.
Two bucks and one doe.
Processed meat tallies up to about $2.26 per pound.
No hormones, no genetically modified food additives, totally organic.
Much better and healthier than store bought meats.
Burger, steaks, roasts, tenderloins.
Muzzleloader is empty, cleaned and put away.
Shot my first deer with it still loaded from last year, worked just fine.
Leaving it empty this year, cleaned with hot soapy water, light coating of oil in the stainless barrel.

I'd say that's a good season and if 3 will last you for the year then be done. If not get after them until you have enough to last the year. We don't eat it much at all so I typically buck hunt unless I know somebody that wants some meat.
My daughter, the wife, and I really like venison. Don't buy much meat during the year so 3 will normally do us for the year.
May have to get one more doe seeing as how one buck was smaller than I thought.
