I took my 15 year old nephew Eli for the morning opener hunt. I believe this was the 7th trip out with him, always seeing deer but he had still never shot at one. This time we had this 8 pt with a long, eye gouging brow tine step into the food plot, immediately stop broadside and start working a licking branch at about 60 yard affording Eli a perfect opportunity. He got it done just as perfectly. It was a great hunt with Shopson along, spotting the buck headed our way 5 min prior. Thank you Lord!
