2021 Kill Thread

I got lucky yesterday. Hard to see, there's a hook point near the base on it's left antler making it a 10 pt. Madison County.

Normally I see/take does first, and every now and then I take a buck. This year, I've been on stand three times, opening day I got an 8-point, last Saturday nothing, then on the 15th, got another 8-point. Both of these went to friends that don't hunt, so I need a doe now, and a second doe for the first friend since he went all summer sausage on the first one.

Got back to roots this year. Wanted to take one with my Henry single shot 20 gauge and rifled slug. This 6 pt gave me a couple of opportunities so I took advantage. Great ground hunt as well.

Late getting in on this one. We have had a good year. My son killed a nice buck on the first gun hunt at laurel hill in November. Then I got a small button on opening day. Shot a big buck but didn't recover him. Then on the second hunt at laurel hill I got a nice buck. Then on an amazing Tuesday early in December we absolutely laid them down. My some killed his personal best and a very nice 4.5 yo 9 point and between us we had 5 antlerless. Shouldn't run out of meat this year. Lol

Late on this thread. I had a good year. I killed 3 Doe and one buck.Had two processed and one turned into summer sausage and deer baloney. Gave the other one to a friend. Good year.
