Put in a short 3 mile yesterday, 0 sheds but did find a buck nest with 19 rubs in a 15 ft area where he was rubbing tree before and after he'd get out of his bed.

Had 6 bucks from yearling to 4 1/2 years old in my front yard in north Marshall County 2/9. Five of them still carried both sides.

3 more miles and again no sheds, I believe the bucks truly don't shed until mid March here in NW TN

Found this in the back yard today. It's on a licking branch over what used to be an active scrape during season. I guess they're still checking the branch now.

well after talking to my neighbor who also lives on the farm, he said he found it in the field, and hung it there in the tree. Oh well...still a good fresh shed. I'll take it

2/27/18....Flew the drone over a few spots yesterday, seen 8 bucks, 6 had both sides, 2 had one side. Feel like it's a few weeks out. Dyer county

I wish i could but I've recently discovered I have a following of internet scouters and the drone footage would definitely give away the spot and the bucks I filmed. Life of a public land hunter.

I've had the same problem but on private land with trespassers

I've had the same problem but on private land with trespassers

x 2, and with both poachers & trespassers.

I used to post a few nice buck & shed pics occasionally,
especially when they came from areas I didn't hunt or hunt much.
But then, some of those seeing those pics would erroneously assume they were taken from places I did hunt,
and start showing up to hunt in the same areas.

Never mind a posted buck pic may have come from Cades Cove,
some are going to assume it came from wherever they see me hunting.

Finally found a shed this year

I seen 8 bucks yesterday in Huntingdon.
2 shed both sides
3 shed one side
3 had not shed an antler.

One was a stud!
