Seems I have missed a few shots recently mostly at coyotes, wondering that small brush is deflecting my 130 gr, would 150 be much better?

Not in my experience...shooting through brush/weeds of almost any kind can cause a deflection in the bullet path. You would be surprised at how little it takes to upset a bullet in flight.

Think about the tips of bullets. Hornady is now producing a bullet with an aluminum tip because at high velocity the plastic tips can heat up and deform thus affecting accuracy. That would be air causing a problem (according to Hornady).

Bullet weight has nothing to do with bullet deflection. Brush will deflect any bullet. Don't take brush shots and you will be fine.
You might look into conservation of momentum and elastic collisions.
