Hate them too. I have caught a few over the years in footholds, but there wasn't much left of them by the time I got to the trap.I hate these stupid things. But as you can tell it was still alive.

My cousin told me the difference between the black heads and the red heads, but I forgot what he said. I just remember him giving grace to the red heads. What's the difference in the two? Both mine were black heads so they went to train station
Blacks are Egyptian Buzzards & considered an invasive speciesMy cousin told me the difference between the black heads and the red heads, but I forgot what he said. I just remember him giving grace to the red heads. What's the difference in the two?
Where did the black buzzards come from, I know they are not native to Tennessee. Hardly ever see a turkey vulture anymore since the black buzzards have moved in.Blacks are Egyptian Buzzards & considered an invasive species
I know coyote hunting is year round, but is coyote trapping as well? And if the trap is out, how do you know "WHAT YA GON' GET?"Season is still open for yotes. Had a new pack move in on me recently and they were across the fence by the house last night trying to get my dogs to come out and play. Time to move my traps.
Yes, you can trap and hunt yotes all year long. There are some traps and baits that target a specific species. However if you're targeting yotes you will most likely catch other predators as well. Who wants to turn loose of a big tom? So, to answer your question of what you might catch, the answer is it's like Christmas, you never know what is going to be under the tree!!I know coyote hunting is year round, but is coyote trapping as well? I talked to someone a couple weeks ago and KY is supposedly in talks about making them legal to kill. They should have never been protected since they aren't a native bird. Either way, sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands andWhere did the black buzzards come from, I know they are not native to Tennessee.
