Hickman County 10 pt. 11-20-22. I bumped this guy the evening before trying to put a camera on a scrape. That was a dumb move. I thought it would be a while before I saw him again. He came back in Sunday morning. He made it tough on me by coming in behind me and to my right. I had to take a left handed shot because he was only 15 yds from my stand. Everything worked out and this guy got to go home with me.

Later full moon cycle has timed breeding activity perfect for rifle season. I'm horrible at aging bucks by tooth wear. I know some on here are really good at it. Thanks in advance.

Wow. If I didn't let the antlers cloud my judgement, I'd call that deer 2.5. I'm still confident he isn't over 3.5. Impressive!

Got this one Saturday evening. 9 point and sorta smoky colored rack that I love. Saturday morning I had 23 different deer on the plot at different times. At 10:30 or so I went back to camp. 3:30 I was back to the plot. There were 3 small 8 points and 3 does feeding on the field. I had the wind in my face and one old mature doe saw me but didn't turn wrongside out like they do when they smell a human. She trotted off and the rest followed. That allowed me to get back into the shooting house and begin my wait. And just before last light this guy showed up.
