Nice, I believe his got to score big points against Bama and get the upset for him to get it. I don't think UTs defense will allow it to happen though.

I think the Vols can win another shootout against LSU, I believe UT can keep the 30+ points streak alive against them.

Sidenote: everyone laughed at LSU when they lost to FSU, Vol fans started to feel alot more confident about that game.....FSU is now ranked 23 and 4-0.... LSU has a good chance to be 4-1 with Two SEC wins by the time UT rolls up. Possibly even ranked.

Glad to see it's a Noon game.

First off I am for Tennessee in every game played. Yes, Hooker is far better than any recent Tennessee QB. Yes, he has put up some impressive numbers. In my opinion these numbers were were achieved playing some light competition.

Take Akron for example..........Hooker lit them up. They sat Hooker down and put in Milton. Milton was dropping in perfect passes and looked like a Heisman candidate himself with two quick TD's. Then they put in Jackson at QB and he takes them down the field and scores a TD. To me it was a really good UT team playing a team in Akron that wouldn't even make UT's practice squad.

When UT played Pitt and Florida those numbers were not nearly as impressive. I hope he does continue to have a great season and wins it all. I just think UT is rated too high at #8 and Hooker is is getting hype he is not ready to handle.

He two highest yardage games was against Pitt and UF. His #s against UF was off the charts. 2ed QB in UT history with numbers like that against any opponent. While he was banged up without his #1 target.

I don't think he wins the Heisman the Defense isn't gonna allow him to win the big games (UGA,Bama) I do think he will have impressive #s in every game he plays this season. But hard to win the Heisman on a 8-4 or 9-3 team.

And people keep saying his #s look that way because UT has played ball state and Akrok no its not 47TDs/3ints in 16 games. That includes 8 SEC teams and a ranked PITT team....this dude and offense for real

National offensive player of the week against Florida. Good enough for me

As far as hype he is not ready to handle? Let this sink in….he is ONE YEAR younger than Lamar Jackson.

Hooker is as level headed as they come. No stage is too big.

With all that said, no, he won't be winning the heisman

Hooker completed 79% of his passes against Florida for 349 yards and ran for 116. 79% against an SEC defense.
He has been named SEC Player of the Week twice this year... for the Florida and Pitt games.

LSU scored 24 against FSU, and 31 against MS state.

I believe Hooker and the vols can put up more points then that, with 2 weeks to prepare. LSUs Defense is no joke. And the VolS D will give up a ton. So gonna be another nail bitting shootout. Hooker will have another chance to put the team on his back like he did against UF

It will be the best defense Tennessee has faced so far. But LSU may have the worst o-line in the league.

I was shocked to read that LSU's qb Daniel's is top 15 qb in "overall qbr" (I think that was what it was called (could be stating it wrong)

He holds the ball a long time so hopefully we can get plenty of pressure
Yeah his decent also has taken care of the ball 0 picks 6Tds.

He can run also 262 on the ground with a couple TDs

Have giving up 13 sacks.
