Ya have a buddy that has one in 22-250 toped off with the new nikon coyote special scope says its the best shooting gun he has ever had he is about to get another one in 243. I shoot a cz 527 in .223 for preds now but i think im goin to get a savage pred 10 in .243 also, I think the 55 grain ballistic tip will be pretty nasty on yotes!

I have seen a bunch of guys talking like 1/2 inch and smaller groups are the norm for their pred 10s. I used to use a 243 wssm with a 55 grain ballistic tip nad I never had an exit wound on a yote and normally just a .243 entrance wound. Never had a dog take another step after being hit, totally awesome dog smasher.

I thiunk the 223 is the best round for predator hunting in the east and it is much better for fox, coon and bobcat which also answer the call on occassion. The thing I like the most about the 223 is that it will fit in a micro length action and the ammo is much much more availbale and affordable that. 22-250. And 223's can be made into lighter and trimmer bolt guns.

I do too, but I never found a handload that would out shoot Federal Premiums in 55 grain ballistic tips. 1/4'' groups out of my .223 I had.

I don't mind doing it all. Just pick up the bullets you want to shoot and I will load them for you. Might start off with two boxes to get you going and then I can load the rest when I get time.I plan on being at the wild beast feast saturday night.

Love the .204. All will work well. Just got a Rem VTR in a 17 fireball!!!! It is sweet.
