Body injuries are different from pedicle injuries which in turn are different than velvet antler injuries. Each of these can cause antler abnormalities, but for different reasons. The only one of the three that is almost guaranteed to cause abnormalities for life are pedicle injuries.

I like unique deer but that one went from stud to UGLY!!! BUT, I have been wanting a droptine so it may still would get shot.

I'm with you on that hitek...my kids call me the great Homer hunter because many of my bucks have two little tines pointing up in the middle of their heads like Homer Simpsons hair! :D
