Wife got her first deer!!! OH YEAH

She has been with me several times but a shot did not arise. Yesterday evening we went from no deer to about 7 to 8 around us. I couldnt move when I heard thump. They took off and I asked her if she connected and she said dont know, I said which one were you shooting at she said I dont know. I said oh boy, but she made a great shot, tracked the deer about 140 yards deep in the woods. She was tickled.

I think I was more nervous than her and from the sounds of it, I will be losing some of my favorite hunting spots to the better half. She was like a hound dog on that blood trail. Man I was proud of her, I completely understand why dads are so proud of their sons when they shoot their first deer.
