She has been with me several times but a shot did not arise. Yesterday evening we went from no deer to about 7 to 8 around us. I couldnt move when I heard thump. They took off and I asked her if she connected and she said dont know, I said which one were you shooting at she said I dont know. I said oh boy, but she made a great shot, tracked the deer about 140 yards deep in the woods. She was tickled.

Congratulations to her. I've been trying to get my wife to deer hunt with me for years. She will squirrel hunt some though.

I think I was more nervous than her and from the sounds of it, I will be losing some of my favorite hunting spots to the better half. She was like a hound dog on that blood trail. Man I was proud of her, I completely understand why dads are so proud of their sons when they shoot their first deer.
 
Congrats to her. Been trying to get my wife her first deer for a few years. She only gets to go 2 or 3 times a year...hasn't happen yet.
