well I've been fishing for more than 7 years and never dropped a line in the Cumberland river in the nashville area. A lot of city that's for sure....but does anyone know of a good spot or two for channel or blue cats, sturgeon (if they're around) or any other decent sized fish I could have a try at? I've mostly got my experience in the Harpeth River which is a lot smaller and I haven't caught any catfish bigger than a 21 inch channel cat. I'm wondering if I could find a spot to maybe catch a blue cat with cutbait sometime. Just a thought.

Oh and preferably I will be fishing from the bank...

Any good spots out there?

Try Lock Two at the end of Pennington Bend Road, Shelby Park boat ramp and the boat ramp at the end of Neelys Bend road.
