what length barrel?

fixen to buy new duck gun cant figure out what barrel length to buy so whats the barrel length on your waterfowl gun?

Whatever you're comfortable with. Don't make much difference in pattern, but the choke does.

I love the 30" barrel on my skeet/sporting clays gun. The gun handles very good for me...But my hunting o/u has a 28" barrel and it works just fine...

I shoot a 28" but I really cant tell much difference between a 26" and 28". Like nitro said get whats more comfortable to you.

I have always shot a 26in but found a good deal on a extreme 2 but it only has a 24in barrel but I didn't no how that would effect shot pattern

28-30 even 32..the longer the barrel the better the follow through... less likely to stop the gun while swinging..

Just something to think about shooting in a duck blind. A shorter barrel is easier to swing fast but also louder to the people next to you. I my self like a longer barrel but they seem to get hung up more often in the brush on the blinds.

26-28 for me. most ducks we shoot at are pretty close, so the longer barrel does me no benefit.

This is correct. 26" for me. 30" is old school.
