I carry a small backpack most of the time if I'm planning on being out most of the day, depending on what i'm hunting, where and when some items change but for the most part these are almost always in the bag.

a few garbage bags
knife (mora carbon steel)
light
sharpener
gloves
rope/strap
zippo
snacks and water
ammo
multi tool (letherman)
phone and portable battery pack
Small liquid hand sanitizer

-hunting license
-range finder
-binos (depending where i'm sitting)
-climbing safety gear (if climbing)

definitely phone recharger, dewalts is awesome, and a folders coffee can is perfect size to store a fresh roll of TP in truck for emergencies

I have started carrying a disposable surgical scalpol for gutting works awesome but I still carry dads old hunting knife on my belt.
