I'm out here rn, and the steady rain just moved out. Let's hope they come into the field to dry their plumage.
(That means feathers, for those of you from Kentucky.)

They will go fluff up to dry out.
Saw that today, which was a first. Two hens came into the field and went into half strut and stood motionless in one spot for probably 10 mins. The wind had picked up a bit and they were using it as a hair dryer. There was a gobbler with them but he stayed with them and they never came in range.

Was cool seeing it though.
