What are these?

I don't recall seeing these on any other deer I've killed. Like little bumps, or something, in the fat around the loins and along his spine.

Y'all are way smarter than me when it comes to deer. Anybody know what these little ????s are?

Pretty common on fat in deer.

Saw my first on a deer killed last week in Mississippi. Full of fat and these things. Looked like black eyes peas.
