That dumb nickname started around 2011 when I think they made their first trip to the college World Series.

Amen and amen. I considered going to the Friday and/or Saturday games. I'm glad I didn't. I can't believe someone hasn't broke his arm to end this idiocy. I don't know why the Vandy fans don't ignore him so he will go away. I can't think of a bigger "look at me, look at me" attention prostitute. The lack of oxygen to his brain from too much whistling has done damage.
I met the other whistler "Preacher", at a rest area a few years ago. He was driving a street legal Nascar replica (it was sharp!) And he has a few others. Anyway I told him he looked familiar and he said he is one of the whistlers. I told him he was annoying as heck!

Easy now. Own is a strong word. You must not have heard that the Kentucky pickleball team won a match against Tennessee recently. But other than that, yes, OWNED.
Final SEC weekend and the Vols are 1 game behind Kentucky. Need to sweep South Carolina and hope Vandy knocks off Kentucky at least once. Vols take game 1 9-3 but Vandy lost 10-5.
Vols win game 2 8-3 but Kentucky obliterated Vandy 17-7 so still 1 game back. Need a Vols win tomorrow and a Kentucky loss.
Vols looked anemic early but clawed back.
SC then pitched around Moore which loaded the bases. Burke took the first pitch for a ride in the rain for a grand slam!
My consolation prize would be Vandy getting swept.
