For those that vacuum seal thier deer meat, what do you do when the vacuum pulls all the moisture/juices to the top of bag and won't seal correctly?

I have not had that happen but have read of others putting a paper towel at the top to stop any moisture from getting out. I double seal all of mine to make sure I don't have a air leak

I have used the paper towel trick before doing corn (make sure to use plain white ones with no design printing).

You can also put the meat in the bag and halfway freeze before doing the final seal...this works great for sauces, soups, anything with a lot of liquid.

Either way works

I froze some chili yesterday in a vacum seal bag. I hit the seal button when all the air is out and it starts to pull the liquid up. I have never had a problem with meat and doing a full vacum and not sealing.
