Vacuum sealer recommendations...

Already posted this in the general forum.

My vacuum sealer crapped out on me and santa said he was gonna bring me a new one for Christmas. What do you have and what do you like/dislike about it. I thought I might invest in a light commercial grade model but really having a hard time justifying $400+ for a vacuum sealer. I usually put up 3 or 4 deer a year so it's not like I'll be using this thing every day.

I borrowed my mother's food saver 3400 and it seemed to do a good job without breaking the bank. What say ye?

I use it year round and I had already went through 2 cheap vac sealers. Thought this was a good mid-range vac sealer, and it has turned out to be very good -- no issues with it at all.
