That is the factory stock, but I stippled it with a wood burner and a needle tip. The contours/ergonomics are great, but the texture had very little grip. I got a little too aggressive with my stippling
I've been looking around. Thought about just doing a barreled action and aftermarket stock. Either a carbon or Boyd's.

Any of the three options should work. The barreled actions from Brownells often come with heavy barrels, if you want that. I've heard that B&C also makes a stock for them.

I will warn you that the thin barrel heats up quickly during range sessions

Is the thin barrel threaded. I've mainly been looking at the heavy barrel but I'm not sure it matters.
