I used the app to check in a deer yesterday morning, I got to the part where you enter the phone # but it wouldnt let me enter any numbers. I exited out and used the link on twra's page and it let me complete the transaction. Later that day I tried it again for a friend and it did the same thing on his phone. Curious if it was my phone or an issue with the app.

The timing out issue is one they are aware of and it is being worked on by the vendor. They do not know when it will be fixed. Until it is, there are two other check in methods available.

It let me check the deer in, just wouldn't let me enter my full number. Just the 731 and then wouldn't take the rest.
