Check the regs. I'm pretty sure it says shotguns only. The pistol wouldn't be legal
It would be dumb even if it was legal due to reduced muzzle velocity.
Shotguns are the only legal firearms.

Seen several killed with a 410 T/C Contender pistol with the 14" barrel on hunting shows and YouTube, But they were close shots. It worked.
