Any reccomendations on a good reliable trolling motor for a 17' bass tracker! Been looking at a pedal operated around the 45lb range! Would like any info you guys could give me! Thanks!!
My buddy has a 08 or 09 19 ft basstracker and his has the Motorgude 45 lb thrust I think it is. I have a 74 lb thrust on my 20ft G-3. I would say 45 to 55 would be fine. I think the most thrust you can get in a 12 volt system is 55lbs.
minn kota or motorguide either one will serve you for years.i had a motorguide that got broke on a rock. replaced it with a minn kota. the only difference is the motorguide seemed to be a bit quieter.
