Trapping regs question

This may be a dumb question but here goes. I think most trappers use a dirt hole or cubby set for coyotes and bobcats. The regs seem to say sets have to be in a hole. I'm probably missing something. Any clarification would be appreciated.

Yes. The "in the cubby" refers to conibear style traps. They must be in the water or inside a cubby. Something about TWRA websites/regulations don't search well using Google. Seems like the current year regs don't come up near the top of the search results and you have to be very careful that the regulations you are reading are for the current year.
