Well all of my plots look terrible.
The DER is down to the dirt with just little sprigs left.
However, inside the seclusion fence...the DER is huge!
Guess I should have planted a whole lot more!
Those animlas are hungry!

My buckwheat that germinated with the rain two weeks ago is wilting in this heat. If it doesn't get rain soon it is done for. Wheat still looks good though.

The deer are pounding a couple of plots.

We got the rain yesterday and today and I bet the food plots are jumping!

Interestingly, deer have really been off the food plots this week. I think it is because a very few oaks are dropping acorns and the deer are scarfing those up while they last. Which is great because it will take the pressure of my newly germinated plots until the growth is 6-8 inches high.
