Tims Ford Smallmouth

My dad, uncle, and myself fished Tims on Friday and Saturday for a couple of hours. We fished chubs and shiners on light line that lead to some fun. We had 7 on Fri with 2 at 5lbs the rest were solid 3 pounders. Had 6 on Sat. Broke 2 Big ones off probably in the 5-6lb range. Didn't get to take pics of the hosses. But here is a couple of good ones.

They sure do fight hard too!!!

glad to see that there are actually fish in that lake, i used to fish it back in the 70's when a 1 pound crappie was the norm.. finally got tired of driving 70 miles not to get a bite and started fishing the tennessee river in Alabammy..

Looks real good, I love the fight of a smallie, I'd choose them over largemouth anytime if I want a good fight.
