Scenic City Fishing Charters, Inc. is proud to have added yet another guide to its team.

Capt. Josh L. Antwine has been guiding fulltime with great success for more than two years. However, with a growing family, he decided merging booking services with Scenic City will take some of the "business" load off, leaving him more quality time to concentrate on putting his clients on fish - especially smallmouth!

Most of our bass guides primarily target largemouth on Chickamauga Lake, upstream from the dam. However Capt. Antwine loves moving water and specializes in chasing smallmouth bass in the tailwaters of Chickamauga Dam, where river current is the name of the game. It does get tough finding smallmouth in the summer months, but because he's fishing the tailwaters fulltime, Josh can often scare up a couple of brown fish anytime. And along the way catches a world of largemouth, spotted bass, stripe, crappie and the typical "mixed bag" the tailwaters are known for. During the prime smallmouth times (October - May), his tailwater expertise yields very impressive brown fish catches. During the winter he's even gotten good at finding great numbers of crappie in the tailwaters, and he is fishing water far less pressured than Chickamauga Lake.

Including Scenic City Fishing founder, Capt. Richard Simms, there are now ten fully-licensed guides booking under the Scenic City Fishing brand - making us one of the largest guide services in Tennessee, if not the Southeast.
