I'm not a big fan but my wife likes them so thought I would give them a try. This will be my first attempt. Anyone had any luck growing them? What variety is best?

Beauregard Sweet Potato does best around these parts.Plant with lots of manure and lots of water on a slight ridge and they will do good.
I planted some last year and they did great.... i planted the georgia variety.... (can not remember the whole name)....
only planted a 15 X 15 area and had a ton of them....
btw... did have to keep the deer out of them (the plants).... they would eat them )the plants) and nothing else in the garden....
