I watched birds strutting on the ridge. Was a grand time. Tried my best. all I could do was call in hens. Dang if I didnt have one 5 feet from me. I thought for sure she was gonna bust me. I think my decoys put her at ease some. She would get twenty yards and I started to chew her out. Dang she was so stupid and came in close again. Meanwhile these struttin toms wouldnt budge. Then another hen shows up. Talks to my decoys, yelpin,cluckin, purrin..the whole nine yards. Gobblers eventually walked away with there other girlfriends. Well, thats turkey hunting. goin back out here shortly. have fun.
