I could be wrong, but does that gun take the same chokes as one of the benelli's? either eagle or nova?
it take the benelli/Beretta chokes not the same as SBE.
i use a jelly head and it shoots great. I have also used a kicks and it to worked REALLY GOOD.
mine shot best with Winchester HV #5 and Hevi shot #6. didnt like any Remington shells and federal shells were hit and miss.

If your stoeger came with a factory turkey choke try it with hevi 13 #7s. I got big numbers with a benelli and that combo.

Got the gun today only thing is why is it not drilled and tapped for a red dot?
hey spit, another word of advise is to put some locktight on the tiny screw opposite side of the action. some have had issues with that screw coming out and loosing it and they you have to order another one and wait on it.
