Due to our success in 4 small plots this fall/winter the landowner ask me if I would interested in a doing a 2 acres plot on a hill down by a creek that is currently chest high in blackberry and some kind of yellow flowering weed. I think I have him talked into bush hogging this area next week.
I assume it is too late to do another fall plot. Therefore when should I use the herbiside and what should I use. Then, got any ideas for a summer plot...soybeans, clover again? tHE landowner also has bees and I read that lespaedeza (as a border)is great for honey production...therefore kill two birds with one stone. Maybe even three and put out some quail?
