Spey rod, big streamers and generation

I wonder, just for something to do during generation, would a spey rod and a big streamer produce anything fished right below Center Hill, be it big trout or stripers?

maybe...you would need a fast sinking line like a skagit and t-11 0r 14 head...Most likely not much fun
