Skunk bait for Trap

I have a medium size skunk hanging around my chicken coop, so far it only ate slugs but I know in time it will eat one of my chickens. So I own a live trap and 2 leg traps, what should I use and what kind of bait should I use? Thanks

x2 on cat food for bait. I use the little .65 cent cans from Dollar General.

Chicken scraps, a can of sardines, or cat food will work great.

I trapped 7 in just one week here at our place when we had chickens. They were all released, except for the last one that sprayed. It went to skunk heaven. They are helpful critters to have around most of the time. Just letting you know, you dont have to let them starve inside the trap, or kill every one of them.
