Agreed. there is a great deal of useful info on YT, but, you have to be able to separate the BS.About the same time a treestand became a "set." These YouTube wannabes just kill me.
"Harvest" came out of the biology world, and younger hunters picked it up.The most annoying of them all for me is harvest. I kill stuff. I don't own a combine to harvest them with.
Agree completely.Dirt nap. Makes me wanna hurl. BBD does too.
Last text I got about a BBD was followed with a text that said "he was right here dead and now he ain't"Dirt nap. Makes me wanna hurl. BBD does too.
I dig what your feelin brother. I guess these groovy cats are way too cool for us fuds.Aw, you old timers just got to keep up with the new lingo. You probably don't remember when you were kids, and the old timers didn't get your new lingo, do ya?
They can get put in time out if they use the word kill on some of their more liberal social media sites."Harvest" came out of the biology world, and younger hunters picked it up.
From a biological/management standpoint, deer are a renewable resource. The excess is harvested each year. However, a hunter kills, he/she doesn't harvest. Yet the term for the annual deer kill has caught on with younger hunters.
How do they do that? That is the reason I don't watch mainstream hunting shows anymore. What gets me is when they bring religion into the killing of the animal.
And that's why I ignore them. Well, the truth is, I can't even tolerate them. I try watching a few YouTube hunting shows from time to time, but 3 minutes in and I'm already disgusted and having to turn it off. The lingo, the grandstanding, the massively inflated egos...Can you imagine a time when there wasn't all this grandstanding, showboating, buzz words, advertising and promotion in hunting? Where there wasn't even any "hunting" shows and you just went hunting for you?
All those shows are just like all the rest of tv, it's advertising and not much more.
A Tim Wells wanna beSeen a new one on the book of face just now. A guy "slocked this bruiser last night".
