Completely agree on this. I love YouTubers who do controlled side-by-side tests of different products.I will watch some of the videos of people testing guns, bows, and other hunting equipment, but not the actual hunting.
We just talked normal.Aw, you old timers just got to keep up with the new lingo. You probably don't remember when you were kids, and the old timers didn't get your new lingo, do ya?
"Smoked him" with a bow…?I don't necessarily mind the lingo. But when I hear them say "I smoked him" and it was an obvious gut shot, now that gets me.
Yep. Hear it all the time on YouTube guys. Even some friends and on Facebook lol."Smoked him" with a bow…?
They're the same thingJust wait until you hear a middle schooler say 6-7 over and over and over again.
I agree Ski. Much more important things to get aggravated over. Nothing more than trivial, eh?I guess I don't see the big deal. It's just buzzwords of the day. Whether you say shot him, shlocked him, smoked him, drilled him, hammered him, etc., I know what you mean. And so does everyone else. Can't say I've ever been bothered by by it.
Haha! You're right! I think this was 1971- I was spotting a mountain goat for my Dad at what we estimated being close to 400 yds late one afternoon. He's shooting from a prone position while I'm watching closely through the binocs. Dad shoots the goat drops in its tracks and I say "Farout!" Dad says " what the hell do mean farout? It's on the ground!" I didn't live that slang down for the next few years!Aw, you old timers just got to keep up with the new lingo. You probably don't remember when you were kids, and the old timers didn't get your new lingo, do ya?
My wife's cousin used to say " jarred down on him".I guess I don't see the big deal. It's just buzzwords of the day. Whether you say shot him, shlocked him, smoked him, drilled him, hammered him, etc., I know what you mean. And so does everyone else. Can't say I've ever been bothered by by it.
I used to say far out but, I was doing an impression of Tom Chong.Haha! You're right! I hate them both, but especially the second part. Clear gut shot and they act like they just won the shooting gold medal at the Olympics. The phrases I can deer with it. The piss poor shots and then saying I smoked then drives me crazy.
Yeah...had to look that one up...had no idea what they were talking about.Just wait until you hear a middle schooler say 6-7 over and over and over again.
Never heard that one. What does it mean.Just wait until you hear a middle schooler say 6-7 over and over and over again.
Button buck downDirt nap. Makes me wanna hurl. BBD does too.
Agreed.I welcomed some of the YouTube hunting in the beginning. It seemed more realistic and a lot of it was just regular dudes. Now it's worse than the old original videos
