Shooting at Reelfoot

I am on a Reelfoot Lake facebook page and there is a thread on there now about two people being shot at Walnut Log.
Another post said someone found two people in their blind and got mad and shot them.
Another said that there is one fatality.
Waiting on confirmation on any and all of it.
Hope none of it is true but I wouldn't be surprised at all if it is.

I have the names of the alleged victims and shooter.
Pretty sure they are both dead.
They trying to find the shooter now. He is somewhere on the lake.

Walnut Log is a different place !

I can't imagine shooting someone over a blind during a good duck season, let alone the abysmal crap in the past 4 years. That's terrible, but knowing some of the dudes out there at the Walnut Log ramp, it doesn't surprise me.

I don't know the circumstances of this event but in my dozen years of 'public' land duck hunting I have met some nice people and some of the scumiest crap on the planet.

2 dead 1 airlifted is the latest report

Tragic and completely unnecessary. I've duck hunted for 45 years and sadly have said for years that duck hunters as a lot can be some of the most boorish and selfish outdoorsman around. I'm not smart enough to pyscho-analyze it but I've seen some pretty crazy behaviors over the year. Reelfoot is a different beast.

Was this accidental in the same blind or did one blind shoot on another and it escalated?

This was a different kind of swing shooting
This one is when birds are working one hole and swing over another and they get shot at when they go over
