Shed hunting and trespassers, Kansas style

Last weekend I received a pic of two young trespassers on one of my cell cameras. After taking their pic, my camera lost connection and I didn't receive any more pics. So my fiancé and I made the drive from West TN to SE Kansas to go check it out and do some shed hunting. While there I found 3 of my cameras missing SD cards and the camera that lost connection was also missing the cell card. We had a pretty great trip otherwise, turning up with 10 sheds in about 6 hours. I went by the boys parents house to talk with them but nobody was home, they had two dead heads that was out in the open. I took a pic we had one of them on camera in the fall.

Dang I hate it for you. Also those two bucks a good ones and seem suspicious that both "died". I wonder if they got poached like gut shot and those boys knew they were dead somewhere.

I also can't tell if those boys have something in their hands. The one in the back definitely looks like he has "white antlers" but my phone doesn't show the best picture.

Hope you confirm who it is and can keep them off the land. Hard to say what happened on the 2 heads they had but wouldn't be surprised if poached but no way to know. At least you know they're not there anymore.

Can't say I disagree. If they will steal and trespass then I'm sure they will poach.

Document everything in writing. Times, places, pictures, visits to their home.......... put it down in writing.......

Might want to contract local Conservation Officer or Deputy sherriff and at least leave a report with them.

Some really nice sheds there. Freaking shame about the deadheads, would have me suspicious of the boys that trespassed and stole your cards. I think I would have to have a discussion with the game warden.
