SEC regular season Champion Lady Vols get either Kentucky or Florida tomorrow. Tennessee was undefeated against both this year but tournament time can be a different animal. The first round bye giving them a chance for extra rest for the pitching staff should be a big plus.

They have a real good team this year.
So much of it comes down to pitching. I'm going to watch some of the upcoming games. I love tournament time.
Single elimination tournaments can hinge on a hot pitcher and on how an ump is calling a game.
TN finally has a stout lineup that any one of several can produce.
But, like bball, the top seeds are pretty much set and have little bearing on the regional seeding.

I like how the tournament rotates between all 13 schools. Every school gets to host a tournament.
I was actually going to get a Lady Vols softball t-shirt until I saw they were $30 a piece. Just to support our hometown girl pitcher.
I bet we could get plenty donations to cover the shirt just to see you wearing Tennessee orange!

Great games wed. with a long 4hr rain delay. TN game is now going to be played FRI morning vs thu at 8pm. Full slate of games today starting at 11am.

The games went late last night. Bama got a first round win. Arkansas will be a tough win tonight.
The rain delay went so long I assumed they wouldn't get to play and quit following. I'll watch some today.

She needs to be kicked off of the team.
A few years ago I saw a video where a pitcher and catcher were upset at a refs strike zone, so the pitcher threw a high ball and the catcher moved her mitt as the ball crossed the plate and nailed the ump in the face mask.
Kudos to the Lady Vols for winning the regular season but I just can't watch softball for long. Was eating dinner tonight while out of town and they had the North Carolina / Clemson game on.

Alabama beat Arkansas late last night in 9 innings. I think they will play the winner between Tennessee and Florida.
What a game it was! I started watching in the 5th I believe, and stayed up until it ended after midnight. I hated to see Fouts go down with the injury. That was hard to watch. Twice! Hopefully it's minor.
Tennessee fans always say ESPN hates the Vols. Want proof? Beth Mowins AND Jessica Mendoza? Why not ask Hillary and Kamala to do the game? It couldn't be any worse.

Probably not. Planting that foot looked very painful.
Tennessee moves on. Ashley Rogers was spectacular as usual. Pitched her 6th shutout of the year, and hasn't allowed a run in almost 20 innings (I can't remember the exact number). Kiki showed why she should've been the SEC Player of the Year instead of Florida's Skylar Wallace. Bring on alabama at 530CT.
Edit: Mendoza was actually pretty good, but Beth Mowins is INSUFFERABLE! If there was ever someone that doesn't belong in their job, it's her!
Mowins is un-listenable. At everything. But espn keeps forcing her on the viewers.
I heard Mendoza last year and thought she was great.

Tennessee has a great team. They can shut teams out and the offense can put runs on the board. Kiki probably should have been player of the year.
Alabama will have to play a great game to win.

Me to. This South Carolina and auburn game has been good.
Unbelievable. You can't make it up.
Bad part is Auburn's catcher could've caught the pop up foul ball if she had picked it up quicker and not ran into the batter.
